Hotel referral agreement

This agreement is between the hotel (the Partner) and TripShare Rewards (sharetrip.site, the Platform). It starts when the Partner accepts it online and can be ended by either side with 30 days' written notice.

1. What the Platform does

The Platform publishes trips that real travelers took, including their recommendation of the Partner's hotel, and shows those recommendations to travelers planning the same destination. Travelers reach the Partner's own booking channel through a tracked link.

2. Referral commission

The Partner pays the Platform a referral commission of 9% plus local VAT, calculated on the room value (before taxes and extras) of every stay that (a) was booked through a TripShare tracked link and (b) was completed. No commission is due on cancellations, no-shows or refunded stays.

3. The recommender's share

Out of the commission received, the Platform pays 40% to the traveler whose recommendation led to the booking and keeps 60%. This is paid by the Platform; the Partner never pays travelers directly.

4. Reporting and payment

The Platform sends a monthly statement listing referred bookings by reference. The Partner confirms completed stays within 14 days and pays the statement within 30 days by bank transfer or card. Disputed lines are reviewed together in good faith.

5. The Partner's page and content

The Partner receives a partner page and may add offers and descriptions. Content must be accurate. The Platform may remove misleading content. Traveler recommendations and scores are the travelers' own opinions.

6. Data and privacy

Each side processes personal data under its own privacy policy. The Platform shares only what is needed for a booking. Both sides comply with applicable privacy law.

7. Liability

The Platform is a referral service, not a booking agent: the stay contract is between the Partner and the guest. Neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is capped at the commissions paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination and law

Either side may end this agreement with 30 days' notice; commissions for stays completed before the end date remain due. The agreement is governed by the laws of the Platform's country of registration unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
